After the massive success of Driving Licence last year, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu are teaming up again for a film titled Jana Gana Mana. The upcoming film, which is directed by Queen filmmaker Dijo Jose Antony, is currently being shot in Ernakulam. The film reportedly has Prithviraj playing the role of a lawyer. The news of the film came out after Suraj Venjaramoodu had met the media outside its sets, after the actor was announced as the winner of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor this year.

“I am now doing a movie directed by Dijo Jose. It’s named Jana Gana Mana and Prithviraj and I play the lead in the film,” said Suraj. “Because I am on the sets when the award was declared, I will have to shell out some bucks for a treat. ”Incidentally, the actor said that when he had previously won the National Award for Perariyathavar and also the State Award for Best Comedian, he was on film sets. “When I won the National Award, I was on the location of Shanker Ramakrishnan’s film and when my won Best Comedian award, I was acting with Chackochan (Kunchacko Boban). This time I am acting with Prithviraj and the happy thing is that after I watched the announcement and came to the sets, Prithviraj came and Shammi (Thilakan) chettan was there. A lot of other people were there too to share the joy,” Suraj says, adding he also got calls from Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahadh and Anto Joseph.
